The idea of L’Apical has always been clear<\/h2>\n

To work with the autochthonous<\/strong> varieties of the Pened\u00e8s<\/strong>.
Under the commercial brand Apical, we produced,\u00a0in 2018, about 10,000 bottles<\/strong>, all of them using autochthonous varieties of Pened\u00e8s<\/strong>, where the influence of the sun and the Mediterranean<\/strong> Sea make it a privileged territory for cultivating the grapevine.<\/p>\n

The Pened\u00e8s<\/h2>\n

Our project originated in El Pened\u00e8s, more specifically in El Baix Pened\u00e8s, an energetic land, with a very important cultural background, and where the vine and the wine create a unique landscape.<\/p>\n

After almost seven years<\/h2>\n

We can show that our wines are having an excellent reception in the national market <\/strong>, including being placed in some menus from Michelin-starred restaurants <\/strong>. We plan to almost double the production next year.<\/p>\n

In 2017 and 2018 we have started exporting a small part of our production<\/strong>, specifically to\u00a0Sweden and England<\/strong>. Over the past few months we have contacted different distributors in Japan <\/strong>, where we are likely to attend a presentation in February 2019, in Germany and in Ireland. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Who makes l’Apical<\/h2>\n

l’Apical is a project that was born in 2012 in Penedes <\/strong>. The project is made up of Sergi Sevillano <\/strong>and\u00a0Mart\u00ed Giralt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

An unstoppable duo\u00a0<\/strong>, where everyone knows their functions very well, but at the same time everybody does everything: We’ll all\u00a0 harvest the grapes, we all bottle and we all sell our products\u00a0<\/strong>. Great teamwork.<\/p>\n

Our philosophy is to grow<\/h2>\n

Under undeniable criteria: Maximum fidelity to the land\u00a0<\/strong>and to autochthonous varieties <\/strong> in our territory. In 2012 we started with 1200 bottles and during 2019 we will reach 12,000 bottles<\/strong>; a progression that is done slowly but surely, with no hurry.<\/p>\n
