Born in 2012 in El Pened\u00e8s<\/h2>\n

Sergi Sevillano <\/strong> and Mart\u00ed Giralt <\/strong> met at the Espiells School of Oenology and Viticulture , in Sant Sadurn\u00ed d’Anoia. Both come from two different worlds. Sergi, from Barcelona, is a sommelier and restaurant technician, who had worked in different high-class restaurants <\/strong> and in some specialized wine shops, and wanted to go to Espiells to expand his wine and winemaking skills .<\/span><\/p>\n

There, he met the Mart\u00ed de Lloren\u00e7 <\/strong> Pened\u00e8s, who has always been surrounded by the world of wine. His father has been producing wine for more than 40 years in the area, and his grandfather also had a small family cava, and had accumulated experience in various areas, such as Pened\u00e8s <\/strong> or Priorat <\/strong>.<\/p>\n

They believed that their union with Mart\u00ed,\u00a0<\/strong> dedicated mostly to the technical part and the elaboration in l’Apical<\/strong>\u00a0and Sergi <\/strong>, focusing on the administrative and commercial part, would make a good team.<\/p>\n

This is Mart\u00ed Giralt, he has always been in contact with the wine\u2019s world, his father as well as his grandparents worked the land and produced wine. He has so many years of\u00a0 experience in different wine regions, such as Penedes or Priorat. He is the one that set the rhythm in the vineyards and the winery. He is like the orchestra conductor who directs our wines\u2019 performance.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

He worked in different first-class restaurants and some wine shops. In order to increase his knowledges, he went to Espiells to study his degree in oenology and viticulture. It’s been 7 years now!<\/h2>\n

And we can show\u00a0<\/span>that our wines are having an excellent reception in the national market\u00a0<\/strong>, including being placed in some menus from\u00a0<\/span>Michelin-starred restaurants\u00a0<\/strong>. We plan to almost double the production next year.<\/span><\/p>\n
